Terms of Service
Last updated 2026. Medding is a wedding-planning service operated by Ghazali Trust ("Medding", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using Medding, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service.
Who can use Medding
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding agreement to create a Medding account. Guests you invite never create an account of their own, so this age requirement applies to the person opening the workspace, not to every guest listed in it.
Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the wedding, guest, and event information you add, and for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us immediately at hello@medding.org if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You may only add guests and their contact details for people you have a legitimate reason to contact about the wedding in question — you are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold and share their information through Medding, in the same way you'd be responsible for a personal address book or spreadsheet.
Payments and subscriptions
Plus and Complete are one-time purchases, charged once through Stripe's secure checkout — never a recurring charge, and nothing is ever charged without you completing that checkout yourself. Medding Memories, where available, is a monthly subscription you can manage or cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancelling stops future charges but does not automatically refund the current billing period. All prices are shown before checkout and are in the currency displayed at checkout. Stripe processes all payments directly — Medding never receives or stores your full card details. Discount codes, referral rewards, and promotional pricing are applied at our discretion and may be withdrawn or changed for future purchases at any time without affecting purchases already completed.
Refunds
One-time purchases (Plus, Complete) are refundable within 14 days of purchase if you contact hello@medding.org and haven't made substantial use of the purchased features. Subscription charges already taken are non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time to stop future charges. This does not affect any statutory refund rights you may have under the law that applies to you.
Acceptable use
Don't use Medding to: send unsolicited bulk communication unrelated to a wedding you're planning; store content you don't have the right to store; attempt to access another workspace's data; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without our written permission; or use the service in a way that violates any applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
Your content
Your wedding, guest, and event data, and any photos or files you or your guests upload, belong to you. We don't claim ownership of content you add to Medding. You grant us only the limited license needed to store, process, and display that content back to you and the guests you've authorized, as part of operating the service.
Service changes
We may add, change, or remove features, and may adjust plan limits (such as guest counts, storage quotas, or CSV import row caps) as the product evolves. We'll give reasonable notice before any change that meaningfully reduces what an existing paid workspace already has access to.
Termination
You can stop using Medding and delete your account at any time from Workspace settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, with notice where practical. On deletion, your data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Medding is provided "as is" and "as available". We take reasonable steps to keep the service available, secure, and your data safe, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Medding's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute not resolved informally is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, mandatory consumer-protection laws of your own country may also apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page, and where a change is significant, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify existing account holders directly before it takes effect.
